Chris is his name.

He sits on a milk crate outside of a corner street restaurant on Broadway, smoking a cigarette from time to time, and either holding a coffee cup or a big, black bucket with a few coins, and sometimes some paper money.

He doesn't ask for money, but he appreciates any and all contributions-- monetary always welcome, matches and cigarettes, too.

Donaters, get a, "Thank ya very much-- have a nass day." And with a nod, everyone is greeted, (emphasis on, How), "How yaw'll doin'? Have a nass day. "
